My semester is splitted in four periods. At the end of every period we have a project week. In this week we have all our tests and we have to return assignments. Mostly, this week is very stressful, but if you make your homework on time and you start learning on time, then it's easy to succeed. You can make the projectweek as stressful as you want yourself! I'll give you some tips to succeed easily.
- Start learning about - at least - 2 weeks before the project week. You may feel like a nerd at first, but you'll be happy afterwards. If you learn all the chapters and summarize them, then the week before you only have to repeat.
- Make sure you've finished all your assignments and you've returned them all on time. If you haven't done them on time or not at all then you're not allowed to do your tests.
- Go and learn with a friend. You can help and teach eachother things and during breaks you can do nice things together.
No one is every looking forward to the project week but in the end it's not that bad at all. You can have it all under control if you want to. After the project week we're a week off. So there's plenty of time to relax then.

Newsnight on possible health risks of social media
Nowadays children spend several hours a day on the computer. There on social networks, chatting with 'friends' they've never met before or they're watching television for hours. Scientists did a research about how social networks are affecting the brain of children.
Investigation said that social networks has transformed the way that we communicate and that it might change our brain. This is because brains changes according by what we experience at young age. Because young children spend so much time on the commputer, they develop differently from the previous generation. It causes: changed behavior, attention damage and academic underperformance. Besides, they think they have much friends, but there is a difference between virtual friends and real friends.
Some scientists disagree with the newest development about social networks. They say that you have to look further then just the agreements you want to defend. If you want to prove something and you're only searching for reasons to prove it, then you can prove anything.
How social networks are affecting internal communication
Social networks are for sharing information, photo's, experiences etc. Nowadays more and more people and companies are using social networks. They're cheap, fast and it makes people feel more involved with the company.
Abi Signorelli gives workshops about the success of social networks. In her eyes it's a great opportunity for companies to use them. "At first, traditional stuff has to work right for the employees and then we can move on. Employees are making a great afford by letting social media in, but they get a massive return!" Social media is changing the company in a positive way. People will be able to share expertises on the internet. They can teach others and learn from others! Despites, it's a quick way of communication. People will know more about each other and that'll create a comfortable environment.

How to handle stress
Most people feel really stressful after a long day working. They're tired, they've got a headache, they become grumpy and so on. Also a lot of students do feel this way sometimes. It's hard to avoid stress, so I've got some tips for you to handle with stress. I hope it will help!
- Take a hot bath or shower. It makes you feel clean and you can get your mind off things.
- Turn the volume of your music up. Dance your stress away.
- Have dinner with friends. They're the ones who can make you laugh. So laugh, enjoy and forget all your work for a moment.
Never forget that the average students does have stress sometimes and that most students succeed classes. So why won't you succeed? Just learn to stay calm and not to think about all your work all day. You can succeed, just like everyone else. Stress is something you can learn to live with.
Next week: Projectweek.

Remco de Maaijer - director of Kences - says: "You never know how many students will come and their rooms need to be decorated as well. Droenbecher freestyle shoewear
This text is about Nike who has created a special shoewear in collaboration with the OSHU Droenbecher Children's Hospital. The young patients get the opportunity to express their life stories in the designs of the shoes. The profits this project makes is for reseaches, trainings for specialists and to provice healthcare.
The Droenbecher patients are seriously ill. With this project they have the chance to get their mind off things. The patients work as real Nike designers and work through the whole entire design project. It's their moment in the spotlight. Sue Nicol - director of the foundation - is very happy with this project, which already raised over 2 million dollars. "It's a experience the kids really deserve and they'll never forget it."

Springbreak or studyweek?!
We - students - need holidays sometimes. Just to relax and to forget about everything. That's why I had a Spring break last week. Well, that's how I saw it. Unfortunately, my teachers were thinking something else.
Diary:
22-02 to 28-2 : Spring break
1-03:
- Assignments English and blog (post it)
- Prepare a meeting
2-03:
- Assignment 3 Managment and Organization
- Assignment 2.0 and 2.1 Searching on the Web
And so on.. Teachers always seem to think that we have time for it in our holiday. Actually, this is a really stupid thought. That's why I decided to use my holiday really well this time, which means : not in the way that my teachers think. I went to Antwerp with my boyfriend. And - hell yeah - I had fun!
Dear teachers, I promise that I´ll make my homework when I get back home. But you have to promise me something in reverse. Make sure that our next holiday will be a real holiday. No homework, no preparations, nothing!
